Our privately maintained gravel roads wind through forests and along hidden waterways, immersing you in the landscape long before you arrive.

Accessing the camps requires preparation—especially as road conditions change with the seasons. To ensure a smooth and safe journey, please keep the following in mind:ns vary—please plan accordingly:
- Check road conditions before traveling. Spring thaw and fall rains can make roads muddy or temporarily impassable due to maintenance.
- Call us from Caribou at 207-444-5108 ext. 3 to confirm that the road is open. If you reach voicemail, please leave your name, callback number, and the time of your call.
- Cell phone service is limited beyond Caribou—plan your route in advance and don’t rely on GPS or mobile navigation alone.
- A 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended, and may be essential during wet or muddy conditions.

Multiple Ways to Arrive at Eagle Lake Sporting Camps

Float Plane Experience
For a truly extraordinary arrival, consider flying in by float plane. This unforgettable experience offers stunning aerial views of Maine’s forests and lakes, and we can assist with flight arrangements to make your trip even more memorable.
Charter Flights
For those traveling from major eastern cities, we can arrange charter flights to Presque Isle, Maine, followed by a quick transfer to the camps. A 2-hour United Jet flight from Newark (EWR) gets you within 1 hour of the camps, where we will meet your flight.
